We invite you to Join TSAA. Information regarding Qualifications and Fee structures are outlined below.

Types of Membership

Regular Membership is available to regular and acting Principals and Vice-Principals with the Toronto District School Board. Associate Membership is open to the following:

• Principals and Vice-Principals on an approved leave
• Members who have retired, resigned, or have been seconded to positions inside or outside the Board
• Superintendents and Executive Officers, and
• Summer and Night School Principals and Vice-Principals

Please notify us if you are now eligible for Associate Membership.

Membership Qualifications and Fee Structure

• Membership for a part of a year Individuals who are promoted during the school year pay one-tenth of the yearly membership fee per month for the remaining months of that school year including the month in which they are promoted. Otherwise an individual who chooses to become a member during the year must pay the full yearly fee.

• TSAA member resigns, retires during the year Membership fees are paid from the beginning of the year until the end of the month during which the member retires/resigns. The member must notify the Association as to the date on which his/her resignation or retirement goes into effect.

• Associate Membership Associate Membership will be available to members who have retired, resigned, are on leave, have been promoted to Superintendent within the Board or been seconded to a position outside the Board. The annual fee for Associate membership is 10% of the fee established at the Annual General Meeting. Associate members will receive mailings and may attend General Meetings, breakfast meetings and social events but will be required to pay for attendance at Association Conferences.

• Teacher is in an Acting Principal or Vice-Principal position The individual is eligible for membership in the Association and will pay one-tenth of the yearly fee for each month he/she is in the position if it is less than the full school year.

• Summer school or night school Principal or Vice-Principals are eligible for associate membership only.
